You need some minimalistic requirements to use PyLucid:

for v0.8 and v0.9

• Python v2.4
• one supported database: MySQL, SQLite3, Postgre or Oracle
• Python DB API module for your database (Note: MySQLdb v1.2.1p2 or later is required for full MySQL support)
• one "free" (sub-)Domain (PyLucid/Django can't work in a sub directory. It must exists in the root folder. You can use a sub-domain, too.)

for v0.8 or older

• a way to put files on your Webspace: (s)FTP, SSH or something like that.

for v0.9

• a shell account
• SVN client
