Switching Default Template and Style

Is there a way to easily switch the default template and style globally?

I created a new template and style and tested it on a pair of pages, but I'd like to be able to switch all pages to using that template (without going into each and every page individually).

I'm currently using v0.8 release, but I can switch to the SVN version if it's only there.

No, there exist no function to do that.

But you can easy switch this by hand: CopyPaste the template and style content in the django admin panel.

Note: If you create a new page, style and template are inherited from the parent page.

Thanks – I just ended up hopping into a mySql query browser and issuing a command to force all the pages to use the new style.

BTW – awesome work

Switching Default Template and Style

Since http://trac.pylucid.net/changeset/1821 there exist a way for temporally switch the template/stylesheet for all pages. This is good, if you wand to create and test a new design.

You find a new point “Template/Style switcher” under “sub menu” / “edit look”

ToDo: Write docu about this ( http://trac.pylucid.net/ticket/245 )
